Our notary team consists of three notaries. We work efficiently in all areas of notarisation law. Taking your individual needs and concerns into account, we work with you to find the right solution and strive to implement it in a pragmatic manner.
Asset and estate planning / estate settlement
Wealth and estate planning is very individual and requires careful analysis. Our team of no-taries will work with you to draw up customised wills, marriage and inheritance contracts and advance care directives. We work with you to find solutions for the best possible pro-tection for the surviving spouse or cohabiting partner and structure your estate planning in such a way that the subsequent division of the estate goes as smoothly as possible. This ap-plies in particular to patchwork families, where complex questions may arise. Remarriage clauses in marriage and inheritance contracts, arrangements in the event of a permanent stay in a nursing home, arrangements in the event of dementia, etc. are also the subject of our comprehensive advisory services.
We also have particular expertise in the context of estate planning in business families, whe-re challenging issues may arise.
If desired, our notaries will act as executors of your will.
Real estate law
Our team of notaries undertakes all notarial work in connection with real estate in the Can-ton of Basel-Stadt. The focus is on legal transactions relating to the transfer of real estate (purchase, gift, exchange), mortgages (creation and amendment of mortgage notes in connection with your mortgage loans) and easements of all kinds (including building lease agreements). Our regular work also includes the establishment of usufructuary rights and residential rights to properties. We have particular expertise in the increasingly important area of condominium ownership.
Company and commercial register law
We can provide notarial services in the areas of company and commercial register law na-tionwide, i.e. we are not limited to the canton of Basel-Stadt. We advise and support both established companies and start-ups. We focus on the formation of companies (AG, GmbH, cooperatives) and amendments to articles of association of all kinds (e.g. capital in-creases/reductions, changes of purpose, relocation of registered office, etc.). Mergers, trans-fers of assets under company law, demergers and reorganisations are also part of our everyday work.
Further notarial services
Our notary team is also at your disposal for all supplementary services, e.g. the establish-ment of guarantees. In addition, our clients can count on a comprehensive service in the context of notarisation and the obtaining of apostilles/over-certifications in international business transactions.
If required, we are also available to notarise legal transactions of our German clients (in par-ticular transfers of shares, marital agreements, etc.).
